Goals of Members of Old Capitol Kiwanis


1.Attend club meetings regularly—strive for 100% attendance through make-up meetings and interclubs.

2.Each member is assigned to at least one standing committee.

3.Arrange club meeting program and serve as greeter on a rotating basis.

4.Participate in service and fund raising projects.

a.Three major OCK fund raising projects—Chili Supper, Good Friday Prayer Breakfast, Kiwanis Golf Outing.

i.     Participate / Support in planning and execution.

ii.     Expect to sell (or purchase) 3 books of tickets.

b.Strive to participate quarterly in recurring OCK projects (Salvation Army dinners, Highway / Park cleanups, Salvation Army kettle bell-ringers, Special Olympics setup, Pancake breakfasts, Ushering, blood drives).

c.Support other Kiwanis club functions (Aktion Club, Circle K, K-Kids,  and other clubs).

d.Support non-Kiwanis fund raisers (Crop Walk, Camp Courageous, celebrity auctions, Interservice Club Luncheon, etc.) when possible.

5.Attend at least one interclub per year.

6.Recruit friends and associates who qualify for membership as prospective members.
